"Keep review", too?

Can I post an article that I think was mistakenly kept? The article was Brenda Venus, a glamour model and pen pal of Arthur Miller and she seems completely nonnotable to me. The discussion was evenly divided, relisted twice without much of a response and kept. I see most of the articles posted here are pages that people think shouldn't have been deleted but what about ones that we think were mistakenly kept? I have contacted the editor who made the decision but have not gotten a response yet.

I guess my question is if I can't resolve this with the editor, can I post an article that I think the consensus was to delete but was kept? NewJerseyLiz Let's Talk 14:17, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Yes, you can appeal the result of any deletion discussion, no matter what the outcome was. Hut 8.5 14:53, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
You can, and people do. But in this case I think it's going to be a very hard sell. I don't think it's a fair characterization to say the discussion was evenly divided. Hobit (talk) 16:58, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
New Jersery Liz, sometimes it is better to wait for a few months to see what happens with the article or simply let it go. AfDs are not made to "win a discussion" if you feel like you have "lost" and "have to win" it is better for you to just let it go. Regards,--BabbaQ (talk) 17:02, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Ayaan Chawla article deletion.

Hello team, I have created a article about a kid named Ayaan Chawla who owned well known companies in Asia, but the article has been deleted. So i would like to request you to restore the article, as you are administrator. But if you want to contact please. And i am reading articles on Wikipedia since 2004 and i found many articles which are related like this kid and i also work as i am professional but i haven't seen any 16yrs kid who is doing this type of things since he was 10yrs. Will be waiting for your reply sir.

Article was deleted by Mark Arsten

No. We don't just restore articles on request. You could initiate a deletion review, but frankly, It would be a waste of time - there is no evidence that the individual concerns meets Wikipedia notability guidelines.
For the benefit of others: see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ayaan Chawla and Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ron Gates. AndyTheGrump (talk) 17:05, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

Closing DRVs

I shall be away for 5 weeks from 11 August, back in Dubai for a week and then out of internet for a while as I transfer back to the UK. The upshot is that I won't be regularly closing DRVs for at least 6-8 weeks. With the currently low numbers of DRVs I'm not entirely sure this is a problem and opinion probably varies about whether we need a regular closer. I thought I should mention this in case one of the admins who regularly frequents DRV wants keep an eye on recent discussions and deal with stuff as it comes up. Thanks. Request for Deletion Review/Recategorise/Userfy or whatever to allow continued work on article Damon Matthew Wise

While most noted drastic improvement in the article and thus most voted to keep or userfy - whatever that remains it is extremely close to and been accepted as being eligible in the disability category to meet the requirements.

If taking the content and adding it to the talk:Damon_Matthew_Wise page is what is being discussed until edited and reviewed, that would be a good idea. First undelete the talk page and insert the temporarily undeleted Damon Matthew Wise - and leave it blanked with a notice stating that the article is being further worked on in he talk page (without linking it as that appears to be against the rules), so that content being discussed and considered in Talk can be added or linked), I and the others can then join the others once we all regain some composure as a result of the sudden death of our communities member and his niece-in-law.

Most of us in Ireland are otherwise occupied - most of us are in and around the autistic spectrum and are in somewhat of a shock. Wikipedia:AUTISM I am at this time unable to work due to supporting the family, and many of us in the groups he has supported are likewise not available.

This post is barely coherent. The article in question was deleted Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Damon Matthew Wise, as a consensus of Wikipedia editors did not feel it passed the project's standards for notability. If you wish to challenge the deletion outright, then follow the instructions at WP:Deletion review. If you wish for a copy of the article to be placed in your userspace for you to try to address the reasons why it was deleted, ask an administrator to place a copy somewhere like User:AspieNo1/Damon Matthew Wise. Tarc (talk) 12:45, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

1) 39% of final comments were delete (minority) - most changed position after extensive editing; the majority were keep or at last userfy to allow further editing or at least Use Sandbox. 1) This has been represented giving all three options - a) reinstatement as met the basic requirements for a disability biography b) undeleted and userfy (or allow talk and article to be worked in talk, if dissimilar) or c) copy article and Use of Sandbox to further edit.

I and the rest of us will work with others to further improve the article, and have got permission to reproduce confirmation of Damon no longer having records of Irish Naturalisation to get a passport and other documentation to confirm history and events has been requested by him before the sudden death of his wife's niece. This is important, but considering the events currently not urgent.

As noted, if you want to challenge the results of the AFD, please go to the WP:DRV main page and follow the directions. This discussion page if not for the discussion of individual articles that have been deleted. You're providing information that has no relevance to this talkpage, nor even to the AFD itself ES&L 17:13, 25 August 2013 (UTC)

Sorry - but that sends me back here ... myself and the others involved do not understand - we want to ensure that an apppropriate review takes places and that the majority consensus to keep or keep or userfy or keep or sandbox is done .. Page Damon_Matthew_Wise and it talk page should be placed somewhere to allow myself and other editors and admin to continue to work and seek review. This requires temporarily undeleting and copying of the content ... AspieNo1 (talk) 08:25, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

---

I take contents from different users by dropbox, and yes collaobrae in chat with other editors - placing researched material in talk and then editing down in content. Aspies culturally think of social group, and rarely use I or me, which we do not feekl that use of I is appropriate (being selfish) ... not the way we think - it is thus extremely difficult of me to use I rather then we - the article about Damon who defined Aspies in the early 90's and developed self/peer advocacy and support groups is to many an important step for the Aspies community and concept to come out of hidden and secret groups and enter the mainstream ...

Damon_Matthew_Wise and Talk:Damon_Matthew_Wise (talk|edit|history|logs|links|watch) (restore)

majority consensus was sufficient work was done to keep, and some felt if not ought to be userfied or sandboxed - I have chosen to seek that myself and other editors want the consensus kept to. It was reviewed for Disability biography content status and passed. Have notified user Bbb23 in Talk of this. AspieNo1 (talk) 08:25, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
